2) 1957 Ford Fairlane 500
"A new kind of Ford for '57! is what the ads said for the all new 1957 Ford Fairlane 500. This particular example is painted in Inca Gold & Colonial White. The smart looking black and white interior sets the mood just right. Power is supplied by the Ford V8 engine. Transferring the power to the pavement are big white wall tires and chrome caps.
3) 1957 Chrysler 300C
If your thinking there's something different about this 1957 Chrysler 300C, your right. It's the custom ordered color, Indian Turquoise. The five standard 300C colors where black, red, white, green and brown. I for one am truly grateful that buyers where able to special order other colors. The 300C is fitted the standard tan interior that goes very well with the turquoise exterior. Powering the 300C is a 392 HEMI that sends the power to the wide white wall tires with full wheel covers.
4) 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer D500
Power and Beauty best describes this 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer D500. The paint is Sunshine Yellow and Jewell Black with black and white interior. What's the D500 you ask? Instead of the normal 325 engine you got the 325 Dodge HEMI with 285 horsepower. This Dodge is also equipped with full wheels covers and large white wall tires.
5) 1957 DeSoto Fireflite
"High-powered luxury for 1957!" is what the DeSoto ads read. This Charcoal Gray Metallic and Mandarin Rose painted 1957 DeSoto Fireflite is a stunning car. The interior is orange and gray for those long road trips. The DeSoto V8 propels the car while the big white wall tires and full caps keep things on the road.
6) 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser - "NEW CASTING"
Back in 1957 Mercury said of the Turnpike Cruiser, "The most advanced car you can buy at any price!" This 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser is covered in Fiesta Red and Classic White with black and white interior. The Mercury is also equipped with the optional continental kit and the power-operated rear window. Notice that this casting has the rear window in the down position, it's all part of the "Breeze-way" ventilation system. Power is also provided by the 368 cubic inch Turnpike Cruiser M-335 V8 with the factory dual quad intake making 335 horsepower. All this and wide white wall tires with full wheel covers.
